According to Brisbane Times, sea mammal was spotted by divers on December 5 but y left it re thinking it would free itself on its own. y decided to take action after y returned next day to find it still trapped in rock pool.
Adverse wear conditions prohibited rescue team to reach spot till December 8. However, after wear cleared Sea World Staff, including a vet, along with Queensland Parks and Quandamooka Indigeus staff worked through 2.5 metres deep rock pool. y captured dolphins using nets and eventually freed bottlese dolphin after one-hour long operation.

Speaking to Brisbane Times, one of rescuers Mike Carr said location and size of lagoon were difficult to handle. He added that conditions were even more challenging because rock pool was sharp and jagged and net y used to herding dolphin kept snagging. Citing problems furr, he said that depth of pool in some places meant it was deep eugh for dolphin to swim under us as we were trying to rescue it.

In a similar incident, Italian coast guard divers rescued a sperm whale that was found entangled in fishnet off Aeolian Island. In a foot shared on Facebook by team, divers and biologists were seen working overtime to free sea creature that got caught in illegal netting. After Italian government was approached by conversation groups, a team was sent to begin rescue operations on July 20.
