Australian woman rescues her dog from brown sea foam as storm batters northeast coast

As heavy rains and gusty winds pummelled Australia’s northeast coast, a sea of brown foam swallowed up a pet dog until its owner miraculously found it.

As heavy rains and gusty winds pummelled Australia’s rast coast, a sea of brown foam swallowed up a pet dog until its owner miraculously found it. rescue mission unfolded on camera and video has w taken internet by storm. In clip, pet owner was caught wing through muck at Gold Coast’s Snapper Rocks in Byron Bay, desperately calling for her dog who h gotten lost in seafoam. 

In video, woman could be heard shouting “Hazel! Hazel!” as she searched through churning brown bubbles, which were as high as her. Several bystanders also joined woman and helped her search her pet pooch. Fortunately, minutes into clip, search ended as a bystander helped woman pull Hazel up and out of sea. clip ends with woman successfully seeing her pet dog emerge from brown foam and taking pooch safely into her arms.

‘Ar example of global warming’

According to BBC, bizarre seafoam capture in video is created when impurities, such as salts, natural chemicals and de plants, are churned toger by powerful waves, turning water into thick, brown bubbles. On December 14, severe rain and high tides battered more than 600 miles of Australia’s eastern coastline. Amidst torrential downpours, more than 2,000 homes have reportedly lost power and tides as high as 26 feet were recorded. 

Meanwhile, video has been shared on several social media platforms. Netizens were quick to react to clip and to point out effects of climate change. While one user wrote, “Ah yes! Ar example of how global warming is destroying our planet,” ar ded, "God bless her for saving poor thing. Humanity is rare se days”. “I’m a local and live along this beach... Seafoam is t an unusual occurrence at Greenmount, Snapper Rocks or Froggies. When it does occur... locals take vant of it and have great fun,” ded third.
