Diljit Dosanjh Delhi Concert: Roads To Avoid, Nearest Metro Station, Bus Stops, More

Diljit Dosanjh landed in India today, October 25, for his Dil-Luminati India tour. The concert will kick off tomorrow, October 26 in Delhi and continue till December 29. Now, as the Punjabi singer is in town, Delhi Police has issued a two-day traffic advisory for easy passage of concertgoers to the venue. Diljit will be in the capital city on October 27 for the second day of the concert.

Delhihites look at the Delhi Police's traffic advisory carefully to avoid the traffic on the streets of the city and reach the concert on time. The concert will kick off at 7 PM on both days at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. "In view of A Live Music Concert of Diljit Dosanjh's “Dil Luminati” to be held on 26 & 27/10/2024 at 07:00 PM at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi, traffic regulations will be effective. Adequate traffic arrangements have been made for diversion and regulation of traffic," read the post.

Delhi police have also issued a notice to the general public and motorists to "use public transport to avoid congestion on roads".

Roads to avoid on October 26 & October 27

Delhi police have asked the public to stay away from B.P. Marg, Lodhi Road, Lala Lajpat Rai Marg, and nearby roads from 4 pm to 11 pm. Heavy vehicle restrictions will also be in place from JLN Stadium Red Light to B.P. Marg during the same time on both days.

Concertgoers can enter the JLN Stadium through gate nos. 2,5.6.14 and 16, while gates 1 and 15 are reserved for emergency purposes. Parking will be available at JLN Stadium Complex, CGO Scope Complex, Sunhari Pulla Bus Depot, Swa Nagar Bus Depot and Khush Nalla.

By Metro: To avoid traffic, people can reach the venue through the metro easily. They can either take the Violet or Pink Line. The closest stops to the stadium are - Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Sunehari Pulla Depot, Jangpura, Central School Lodhi Colony, C.G.O.Complex, Pant Nagar, and the Lajpat Nagar.

By Bus: Buses that will stop at the JLN Stadium are - 440A, 456, 522, 522A, 522CL, 588, 623, 440, 450, 521, 47A, 375, 719, 719A, 745, 776.
