IIFA 2024: Rekha, Vicky Kaushal, Kriti Sanon And Other Celebs Reach Abu Dhabi For Grand Awards Night

International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2024 is all set to kick off on September 27 at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, for the third time. The award ceremony will celebrate the best of Hindi and South Indian films and conclude on September 29. The show will be hosted by several Bollywood stars, including Vicky Kaushal, while Rekha, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and others will be seen setting the stage on fire with their dance moves. A day ahead of the ceremony, several celebs have reached the Abu Dhabi venue to get set for the grand opening on Friday.

Celebs reach Abu Dhabi venue for grand opening of IIFA 2024

Several videos of the actors are going viral on the internet showing them gearing up for the big night. In a video shared by a paparazzo, Rekha, Kriti Sanon and Vicky Kaushal can be seen leaving the hotel to prepare for the gala event.

The three-day event will start with IIFA Utsavam, an event dedicated to southern film industries- Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. On the opening day, megastar Chiranjeevi will be honoured with an award for his contribution to the South cinema. The event will be hosted by Rana Daggubati and Teja Sajja.

“For the viewers, what's exciting is that there will be some great performances at IIFA Utsavam. For example, Chiranjeevi, and Bala Krishnan are doing some great stuff, and there's Prabhu Deva. Rana Daggubati will host the awards ceremony,”  IIFA Awards founder-director Andre Timmins said.

Rekha to rock the IIFA stage for 22 minutes

While the other two days are dedicated to award distribution. The night will be concluded with Rekha's performance. She will be performing for 22 minutes with 150 dances. The clothes are designed for this by Manish Malhotra.

Others who will be performing at the ceremony are Vicky, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Jnahvi Kapoor, Raashii Khanna, Prabhu Deva, Pushpa composer DSP and Shahid Kapoor.
