IIFA 2024: Where To Watch Event On OTT? Know About Date, Time, Venue And All Performances

IIFA Awards 2024: International Indian Film Academy Awards (also kwn as IIFA Awards) have returned for 24th edition. three-day extravaganza celebrating films is being held in Abu Dhabi this year. bigwigs of Bollywood including Aishwarya Rai, Kriti San, Kartik Aaryan and several ors have already arrived at venue for rehearsals and pre-award events.

What is IIFA Awards 2024 date? 

three-day ceremony will commence on September 27. first day of event will celebrate four regional film industries of India - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. This celebration is called IIFA Utsavam.
 

This will be followed by main IIFA event on September 28, Saturday. Best of Hindi film industry from 2023 will be houred at event. This will be followed by final night, September 29, IIFA Rocks which will be a musical night celebrating music industry.

Where is IIFA 2024 taking place?

IIFA event made its debut in 2000 and has since been celebrated in a variety of picturesque locales, including New York, Abu Dhabi, Toronto, Singapore, Johannesburg, Amsterdam, Dubai, Colombo, and Tampa Bay. For 24th edition, three-day event will be held at 18,000-seater Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

Where and when to watch IIFA 2024 on OTT?

IIFA 2024 event will be broadcast live on Sony TV, STAR Plus, and Colors TV. ceremony will also stream live on Zee 5. As per reports, event will commence at 18:00 hours with red carpet and award ceremony will begin at 19:30.

What are performances at IIFA 2024 this year? 

This time event will begin with IIFA Utsavam, which hours artistic and technical achievements of South Indian film industry. event will see see performances by Regina Cassandra, Raashii Khanna, Prabhudeva, and Rockstar DSP, to name a few. Regina will be performing a nine-minute medley. Raashii too would be dancing to a medley of Telugu and Tamil songs.

For main event, veteran star Rekha will be performing for over twenty minutes on st. As per IANS, “Rekha, 22 minutes, with about 150 dancers and costumes. She's been working day and night on her costumes, her graphics, and making sure this performance is of a lifetime. Rekha is finale.” event will also have or Bollywood personalities such as Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor , Shahid Kapoor, and Kriti San setting st on fire with ir performances.

Who is hosting IIFA 2024 this year? 

Star Rana Daggubati will be taking over hosting duties for IIFA Utsavam. As per IANS, he plans to “bring a blend of fun, laughter, and a bit of behind--scenes magic to viewers.” This is t first time that Rana will be hosting, and he says he is “happy to do it again.”

flagship IIFA Awards will be hosted by several Bollywood actors including Vicky Kaushal. IFFA Rocks will be hosted by Siddhant Chaturvedi and Abhishek Banerjee. Siddhant, who rose to fame with his performance as MC Sher in “Gully Boy," told IANS that hosting show was a dream come true for him.
