Buckingham Murders premieres at Jio MAMI film festival on October 27. mystery thriller opened inaugural night of India’s biggest film festival. Ahe of film’s screening, film’s cast and crew walked red carpet at NMACC, where film festival takes place.

Jio Mumbai Acemy of Moving Images (MAMI) opening night was a star-studded affair. Kareena Kapoor arrived at event in a black outfit with pink detail. actress, who also makes her debut as a producer with film, was accompanied by film’s director Hansal Mehta along with or cast members. Producer Ekta Kapoor also accompanied team.

In support of actress, her husband Saif Ali Khan and sister Karisma Kapoor also attended opening night. Pataudi prince donned a white kurta-pyjama set with a cream-coloured half jacket, while Dil Toh Pagal Hai actress arrived in a classic black and white saree.
Kareena Kapoor hopes Buckingham Murders ‘breaks barriers globally’
Speaking to PTI, Kareena Kapoor expressed her excitement ahe of film’s premiere. She said, “ Buckingham Murders is very special for me since it's my maiden voyage as a co-producer. Working with Hansal and Ektaa is a deeply satisfying and immersive process. We are only hoping our film will reach wider audiences and break barriers globally”

film follows story of a single mor and cop, Jasmeet Bhamra, played by Kareena, who is assigned case of a missing child after losing her own child in a shooting spree. Buckingham Murders, directed by Hansal Mehta and co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, was screened on October 27 at NMACC on occasion of Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2023. festival will run from October 27 to November 5.
