In video shared by official handle of Doordarshan on X, Manasi can be seen breaking into tears moment her name was called out during award ceremony. She can be seen walking up stage with emotional expressions and shedding tears on receiving prestigious award. In video, President Droupi Murmu can be seen consoling her while handing her award.

For ceremony, Manasi wore an embroidered saree with a matching jacket. She accessorised her look with statement earrings. She sported a nude make-up look and styled her hair in a ponytail.

Who is Manasi Parekh?

Manasi began her career in TV industry and featured in shows such as Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kkavyanjali, Zindagi Ka Har Rang...Gulaal and more. While she was working for TV, she kept giving auditions for movie roles and bagged her first big screen project Leelai in 2011. Next, she was seen in hit Bollywood movie Uri: Surgical Strike, starring Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam. Since n, she has starred in six movies, including Kutch Express.
