On seventh anniversary of BTS’s debut, that is June 13, 2020, a group of African fans got toger and opted a rescue baby elephant in BTS’ V’s name. baby elephant was named as Roho as per fandom. After two months of care and urishment, Korean media portals have reported that baby elephant is doing well after due care.

Elephant opted by BTS' V's fans thriving at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
status of baby elephant was widely shared amid African fan base of BTS, specifically fans of BTS’s Kim Taehyung, kwn by his st name V. fandom is contributing money to ‘opt an elephant’ scheme of Sheldrick Trust. Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is located in Nairobi, Kenya, and has several rescue, rehabilitation, and relocation plans for injured, abandoned and morless elephants. Roho is reportedly doing well and being raised well as per African fansite. After two months of care, elephant can be seen in video flapping and moving its ears.

This is t first instance when fandom has come toger for a greater cause. Recently, global fans of group h opted a tiger to be funded for rescue and rehabilitation. Similar to above instance, tiger as well would be raised until capable of hunting and surviving on its own in wild. group funded whole rehabilitation process.
