In a recent interview, Extraction Director Sam Hargrave revealed that he knew Baby Yoda's real name. Sam Hargrave was action director for  Disney+ Star Wars spiff Mandalorian, so he worked closely with showrunners and producers. Baby Yoda was biggest selling factor of Disney+ Star Wars spiff,  Mandalorian. Fans loved VFX baby thanks to his orable design and endearing actions on show. However, Baby Yoda's name was never revealed in first season of  Mandalorian. In fact, very little is kwn about origin of baby. 

Talking to an entertainment portal, Extraction Director Sam Hargrave mentioned that he knew name of Child, aka Baby Yoda. director n ded that carrying that secret was a "very heavy burden" for him. After Sam Hargrave revealed that he knew Baby Yoda's name, excited fans flooded social media with messs demanding to kw to real name of orable baby character. As of w, fans only kw that Child is a member of Yoda's force sensitive species. Moreover, in first episode of Mandalorian, an Imperial mentioned that Baby Yoda was over 50 years old. But makers of show were very secretive about origins of Baby.

After realising that Child is force sensitive,  Mandalorian decides to take care of him until he is delivered to people of his own kind, aka or Force Users and Jedi. Season 2 of  Mandalorian will likely focus on baby's origins, and show might finally reveal his real name. According to official sources,  Mandalorian Season 2 is set to release in October of this year. However, dates might be pushed due to delayed caused by pandemic.
