The 2016 film 'Pink' is outed as one of the best courtroom drama film, with hard hitting performance and dialogue. The film was a turning point in Taapsee Pannu's acting career. Post this film, she started getting characters of strong, independent women. The actress shared a picture along with Andrea Tariang and Kirti Kulhari who were her flatmates and friends in the film. This is the first time Taapsee Pannu shared screen space with the veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan. Taapsee Pannu gave a power house performance along with Amitabh Bachchan. The film helmed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and written by Ritesh Shah. The film also received the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues.
Post this film, Taapsee Pannu was signed in for powerful characters in films like 'Naam Shabana', 'Mulk' and 'Mannmarziyaan'.

Andrea Tariang, who made her debut in Bollywood with the film also took to Twitter to celebrate two years of 'Pink'. Sharing a picture of herself, along with Taapsee Pannu and Kirti Kulhari, she wrote, "2 years ago on this day #PINK was released and I was fortunate enough to have been a part of this amazing film with the most amazing people! #PINKgirls"
On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan will be once again seen sharing screen space in Sujoy Ghosh's 'Badla'. The shooting of the film is in process and is scheduled to release in March 2019.
