Bhumi Pednekar's 'Bala', Vidya Balan's 'Mission Mangal', Emraan Hashmi's 'Why Cheat India' and many other films grabbed a spot in list of 2019 controversies.

Last year, that is 2019, was quite eventful for Hindi film industry. Films such as Uri: Surgical Strike and Chhichhore among many ors were sleeping hits. On or side, Hrithik Roshan's War, Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy and many or bagged huge amounts at box-office. Meanwhile, a few films ended up creating controversies. Here is list of a couple of films that became talk of town for all wrong reasons.

Bala
Actor Bhumi Pednekar played le in five films in 2019. But out of all five, re was hardly a film that did t create controversy. Being one of m, Bhumi Pednekar's latest release Bala was criticised on internet for featuring her as a dark girl. According to reports, people who were criticising Bhumi Pednekar pointed out that makers of Bala should have taken a girl who has a naturally darker she.
Mission Mangal
Mission Mangal featured Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kriti Kulhari, and Nithya Man along with Akshay Kumar in le. After release, science-drama bagged praises from audience and critics. But before that Mission Mangal grabbed eyes on internet as in official poster of film, Akshay Kumar, who was playing a pivotal role, got more than entire cast.

Why Cheat India
Why Cheat India released in January 2019. Though it received a positive response from critics, title of film struggled to impress CBFC Board. poster and trailer of film came out with title Cheat India but was later changed due to objections. Reportedly, CBFC’s examining committee felt title was misleing in context of film.

Kabir Singh
Kabir Singh is undoubtedly one of most remarkable films of 2019 when it is about controversies. romance-drama became one of highest-grossing films of year. But Shahid Kapoor's character as Kabir Singh was criticised by millennials and critics on internet. 'Misogynist' was term used by many people who reviewed film.

Judgementall Hai Kya?
Kangana Ranaut's Judgementall Hai Kya gave a lot of content as it grabbed eyeballs several times before its release. Reportedly, Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) found original title a little harsh, which was Mental Hai Kya? Later in a media interaction, Kangana Ranaut's ugly spat with a journalist also created a buzz.
