January 13 marks 25th year from movie's release and one of lesser-kwn facts of film is that Rakesh Roshan's first choice for Karan's role was t Salman Khan.

Rakesh Roshan's reveals his first choice for Karan's role in Karan Arjun

On completion of 25 years of Karan Arjun, producer and director of film, Rakesh Roshan, revealed in an interview with a publication that Salman Khan was t first choice for Karan's role in film. Roshan stated that Tanhaji: Unsung Warrior actor Ajay Devgn was his first choice for playing Karan's role, but he refused to do film because he was t convinced by script.

Ajay was t happy to play role of Karan in film and wanted to essay role of Arjun, but Roshan did t comply with it and refore, he h to turn down Ajay Devgn for Karan's role. Rakesh Roshan furr stated that Ajay was t convinced with  story, especially reincarnation element. He later approached Aamir Khan too, to play one of les in film, but he could t do film because he h date issues and h asked Roshan to wait for six months if he wanted to cast him in film.
