In a recent report by BoxofficeIndia.com, the film has raked in as much as Rs 22.75 crore on day three of its release, taking the film's total collection to Rs 100.75 crore. With this, Aamir's yet another film has hit the jackpot despite the footfalls in theatre decreasing with each passing day. The film that also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh is helmed by 'Dhoom 3' director Vijay Krishna Acharya. Previously, Thugs recorded the highest opening day collection ever with Rs 50 crore in its kitty and Rs 28 crore on day two according to the report. Raking in the Diwali weekend moolah, 'Thugs Of Hindostan' is cashing in on the brand power of the stars who have been gracing the celluloid for the first time together.

On a similar note, the period-drama has reportedly been leaked within hours of it releasing across the country. The ones responsible for this crime are none other than the notorious online piracy website Tamilrockers. Ever since the news of the leak has come out, outraged fans have demanded authorities to take severe action, as this is the second major film that has fallen prey to them in the last one week. Now the same group has threatened none other than Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 which is one of the highly anticipated films of the year.
