Many stars have been raising ir concern over treatment meted out to doctors and or health care workers. Recently, Shekhar Kapur also joined in debate on Twitter. filmmaker tweeted on Saturday that films post-World War II reflected ‘new realities’, while wondering if films in post-coronavirus era could have doctors and nurses as ir ‘new heroes,’ and if capitalists ‘throwing out labour’ will be ‘villains.’ A doctor replied to him that healthcare workers being considered heroes was a ‘separate discussion’, because world was still being ‘harsh and igrant’ to recognise ir sacrifices.

Kapur responded by sharing his own experience of seeing his far work as a paediatrician. Mr India director wrote that his far worked ‘desperately to save every life.’ He also recalled being hurt by an episode on Aamir Khan’s TV show Satyamev Jayate that h criticised medical fraternity.
