Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha', which is an official remake of Hollywood classic 'Forrest Gump' as per reports will be shot around 100 real locations.

Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha', which is an official remake of Hollywood classic 'Forrest Gump' as per reports will be shot around 100 real locations spanning across India. Cities such as Delhi, Gujarat, Mumbai, and Kolkata will be a part of film's schedule among various ors.

Apart from locations, a part of film preparation also includes Aamir's physical transformation, for which actor will undergo massive physical changes to better fit his character. For same, Aamir will gain over 20 kilos and is likely to sport a turban in some parts of 'Laal Singh Chaddha'

Aamir on 'Laal Singh Chaddha'

actor would be sporting a turban "for some part of film". Speaking about remake, actor said, "I have always loved 'Forrest Gump' as a script. It is a wonderful story about this character. It is a life-affirming story. It is a feel-good film. It is a film for whole family."

Tom Hanks' 'Forrest Gump'

For those unaware, 'Forrest Gump' was based on a 1986 vel with same title and was written by Winston Groom. Starring Tom Hanks, Robert Wright, and Gary Sinise, movie won Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Visual Effects and Best Film Editing.

He was last seen in: 

Aamir was last seen in Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thugs of Hindostan, which also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh, but film failed to strike a chord with fans and gained bad reviews from audience as well as critics.
