On Tuesday, October 22, Aishwarya Rai spent time with her family amidst ongoing divorce rumours concerning Abhishek Bachchan. She attended a simple birthday party for her cousin Sagar Shetty, with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, and her mother, Brindya Rai. In a photo that surfaced online, Aishwarya held Aaradhya closely while posing with her cousins. Aaradhya was dressed in her school jersey for the occasion. The picture was apparently shared by Aishwarya’s cousin, who expressed gratitude to her friends and followers for their birthday wishes.

However, Abhishek Bachchan was visibly missing from the gathering which fueled the rumours. As the photo went viral, many fans commented on normalising the low-key nature of the celebration. One fan noted, “I love how everyone is dressed so humbly; nothing too flashy or over the top. It’s a cute picture.” Another added, “Everyone looks very real, normal, and down to earth. Nothing flashy, over the top, or fake.”

Some more users remarked, “We really need to normalise failed marriages and divorces. People can grow apart without anyone being to blame. It’s okay to co-parent happily rather than be miserable just to maintain appearances. On a separate note, this is such a wholesome and homely picture.”

Why did Abhishek Bachchan miss Ashwariya’s cousin's birthday?

On October 22, Abhishek returned to Mumbai on Monday after a shoot schedule of Housefull 5. He was spotted at the Mumbai airport. The Dasvi actor was snapped coming out of the Mumbai airport by paparazzi. The actor was accompanied by his good friend and producer Bunty Walia. 

A video also went viral showing Abhishek Bachchan losing his cool with the paparazzi when they did not stop following him around.
