Abhishek Bachchan is all geared up for his upcoming film I Want To Talk, helmed by Shoojit Sircar. project at hand marks Abhishek and Shoojit’s first film toger. Recently, at music launch of film, actor shared his experience of working with director and lessons he learned on way.

Abhishek Bachchan: It’s been life-changing

During music launch of his upcoming film I Want To Talk, Abhishek Bachchan mentioned experience while he was working for film, “Don’t ever put on weight for a film again. Trust me, at my age, it gets very difficult to lose it after a while.” He also spoke about how weight gain in film was not prostics, but that’s him. “And that is me. That isn’t any prostic”. He revealed that it has been life changing and a learning experience.

Talking about experience of working in film and with director Shoojit Sircar, “But, no, I think it reassures you as actors that re’s a little bit of space for everybody out re. What I’d like to thank Shoojit Da for is, and I hope you all can find some sort of parallel in your own life, you know, we’re all stuck in rut of life. We’re doing what we’re doing, we’re enjoying it. Some of us have got a corporate job, some of us are artists, some of us do whatever we do. Life dictates to you what you should be doing and how you should be doing it."

He furrmore said, “What’s nice about working with Shoojit Da and doing a film like this is once in a while you can just talk and say, ‘Hey, you know, I can do something different and maybe I should try something different. greatest takeaway is to have, as he says, to be fearless. Sorry, fear free. Be free of fear and go out re, try something different”.

Directed by Shoojit Sircar, I Want To Talk promises to strike a balance between ligharted moments and deep emotional introspection, offering a profound commentary on life, relationships and redemption.

Alongside Abhishek Bachchan, film also stars Johnny Lever, Banita Sandhu, Pearle Manes, Jayant Kripalani and  Ahilya Bamroo among ors. I Want To Talk is produced by Rising Sun and Kino Works. screenplay is penned by Ritesh Shah. film is set to release in atres on November 22, 2024.
