Adithya Varma: Vikram opens up about son Dhruv's debut film appearance

Adithya Varma will mark the debut of actors Dhruv Vikram and Banita Sandhu. Read below to know actor Vikram's views on his son's debut film in Tamil industry.

Vikram has evidently earned the status of a superstar in the Tamil film industry. The actor has worked since 1990 in films and has won over seven Filmfare awards and one National award. The 55-year-old actor Vikram's son, Dhruv Vikram will be making his debut in Tamil film industry with the Adithya Varma which is an official remake of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy. Dhruv is currently promoting the film along with his father Vikram.

Vikram's views on Dhruv's debut film

While talking to a news daily in Kerala, Vikram stated explained his views on Dhruv's debut film Adithya Varma. He stated that he strongly feels that Adithya Varma is the best launchpad for Dhruv. He added that he loved Arjun Reddy as it was a difficult character to essay on the film. The protagonist character goes through many phases in the film. He stated that producer Mukesh Mehra felt Dhruv would be perfect for the remake.

Both lead characters in the film are making their debut. Dhruv had stated during the audio launch of the film that his father's contributions helped him pull-off a good performance in the film. Dhruv said that he was aware of his father being hardworking and a dedicated actor. But, when it came to Adithya Varma, Vikram wanted Dhruv to go the extra mile and get the character right. Dhruv also credited all of his work on-screen to his father Vikram. He stated that everything the audience will see on-screen wouldn't be possible if it weren't for his father's involvement and commitment.
