However, in a surprising twist, Aditya bumped into his rumoured ex-girlfriend at an event, but it was not Ananya. The video from the time is now going viral with many shipping the rumoured exes.

Aditya Roy Kapur and his rumoured ex-girlfriend Shraddha Kapoor recently had a Tum Hi Ho moment when they unexpectedly met at an event in Mumbai.

A video of the OK Jaanu stars quickly went viral. In the clip, both actors are seen twinning in black as they exchange pleasantries. 

Shraddha wore a black saree, while Aditya sported a three-piece suit with a tie and white shirt. They were seen chatting, laughing, and sharing a warm hug. Coincidentally, it was raining during their meeting which made it a nostalgic scene from their classic movie Aashiqui 2.

As the video spread like wildfire, some fans expressed hopes for them to reunite, both on and off-screen. One fan commented, “Hey bhagwan ji multiverse of madness kar dijiye aur in dono ki shadi karwa dijiye please," while another noted, "The umbrella scene got repeated." A third added, "Manifesting to see them together in reel and real life too."

Rumours about Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday dating began when they attended Kriti Sanon's Diwali party in 2022. After that, they were often seen together at parties, events and on secret holidays. The pair also walked the runway at Lakme Fashion Week in 2023 and were often spotted at movie premieres, sporting each other.

However, in 2024, speculation about their breakup emerged after Ananya posted a cryptic message on Instagram in May. She shared a snapshot of a handwritten note, accompanied by the caption "Monday manifesting." 

The note read, "If it is truly meant for you, it will come back to you; it will leave only for the sake of teaching you the lessons you could only learn on your own."

While the note appeared like a typical motivational message for those facing challenges, Ananya's decision to share it on her Instagram stories has indirectly suggested to fans that her relationship with Aditya might be over.
