After Deepika, Arjun Kapoor to Get Spinoff Movie In Rohit's Copverse? 'Danger Lanka' Drops Hint

Arjun Kapoor has been basking in success of his recently released movie Singham Again. Not just movie, but even actor is being praised for his portrayal of Danger Lanka aka Zubair Hafiz. Amid this, actor has hinted at possibility of a prequel based on his character.

Is a spinoff movie based on Danger Lanka on cards?

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Arjun was asked about glimpses of his character's backstory in cop drama and if audience can expect a prequel. To this, actor said his job is to do what director Rohit Shetty asks him to do. If he makes a prequel based on origins of Danger Lanka, n y can count him in as he would be "very happy".
 

"Ek alag interesting duniya hai of how he became what he became. But at this point, mein utna soch hi nahi raha. Mujhe khushi iss baat ki hai ki people are liking Danger Lanka for what he is." (It's a completely different and interesting world of how he became what he became. But at this point, I haven’t thought about it much. I’m happy that people are liking Danger Lanka for what he is)," actor elaborated about his character.

He concluded by saying that if audience wants it n he is sure that Rohit Shetty will make it happen.

Arjun impressed movie buffs with his villainous role in Singham Again. Not only audience, but even Ajay was mighty impressed by his acting and said that he proved himself all over again. " We all are really happy. Finally, Arjun is getting his due as an actor. Earlier many people passed demeaning remarks against him (Pehle kaafi log kuch ulta seedha bol rahe ) but (Arjun with his performance proved m wrong). He proved himself again...For Arjun, success of 'Singham Again' has come at right point," he said to ANI.

Earlier, Arjun was struggling as an actor as his past movies, including Ly Killer and Kuttey, flopped at box office.
