The Zero actress took to Twitter to express her happiness and pride on the Indian team winning the series. Calling the whole tournament 'unforgettable and outstanding', Anushka added that she is really happy to have witnessed these historic turn of events. Other than congratulating the whole team, she also had a sweet message for Virat as she concluded her tweet with, "so proud of you my love".

Mahendra Singh Dhoni led India to victory in this third ODI as his invaluable knock proved key to clinching this crucial victory for the team. In the Adelaide match too, it was MSD who saw the game through after India was made to chase a stiff target of 299. The fans have been celebrating the wicket-keeper batsman for having what it takes to win a game under all odds. The victory is sweeter for the team as they won the test series with a 2-1 lead over the hosts. This was the first time in 71 years that the men in blue won a test series down under and now with the ODI series also under their belt, there is no stopping the lads.
In the meantime, Anushka has been accompanying husband Virat and the players in several games throughout the Australian tour.
