After Manmohan Singh, now a biopic on Rahul Gandhi, ‘My Name is RaGa’, watch teaser

After the biopic on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and another on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on floors, it seems one on Rahul Gandhi is also set to release. A four-minute teaser of the movie titled ‘My Name is Raga’ has surfaced on the Internet and there’s no clarity if it’d be a feature film or a digital release. It’s also not clear if it’s a parody or an actual take on the life of the Congress President.

Neverless, teaser starts with visuals of character based on former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi watching a young Rahul swimming.  He n sees his grandmor being killed in front of his eyes and incident seems to affect his mind and he asks his far, based on former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, if he will also be killed.

He n is handed over responsibility of party by his mor, Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh, which he accepts despite apprehensions. A character based on his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vra is seen as his pillar of support. 

Rahul says that he’ll be proud to even fail for India as his far and grandmor have given ir lives for country.

We see visuals of  Bharatiya Janata Party members and voiceover about Rahul Gandhi being a 'Mughal Emperor' and Gandhi family being compared to Mughal dynasty.

He is n seen celebrating a victory for party, despite being ‘mocked and vilified more than any or politician in contemporary Indian politics’. If movie is t a parody, it could be his journey from childhood to his most famous victory, Congress winning three out of five states in assembly elections held in December last year.
