After ‘Saaho’, Jackie Shroff now joins Vijay’s ‘Thalapathy 63’, delighted fans call him 'super selection'

Jackie Shroff has proved he’s truly a veteran of the entertainment industry with a career of almost four decades. Not just Bollywood, the actor has worked in almost all the major languages of the country like Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Oria, Bhojpuri, Punjabi and the South languages over the years. With the latest news of the ‘Parinda’ star signing Tamil superstar Vijay's next film, also featuring Nayanthara, the 62-year-old has once again reaffirmed his pan-India presence.

Jackie was on Thursday confirmed as one of the members of the cast by the makers.

The announcement delighted Vijay fans to the core. Many of them wrote ‘expect the unexpected’ and some made graphics about his illustrious career of over 200 films in more than 10 languages. Many of them called him a 'super selection', 'vintage star' and welcoming him to the 'blockbuster' expressed confidence that he will leave a 'great impact.' Here are the reactions:

The movie will also be Jackie’s next big film down South after ‘Saaho’ starring Prabhas, that will be releasing on Independence Day.

Vijay-Nayanthara's next untitled movie, to be known as ‘Thalapathy 63’, Vijay’s 63th film, till then, is being directed by Atlee. The movie has been in the news courtesy the humongous crowd that has been gathering to watch the lead pair at SRM University, Chennai.
