Aishwarya and Abhishek got married in a private ceremony on April 20, 2007

Aishwarya has talked about her love and appreciation for her husband Abhishek on many occasions. The actor has nothing but praise for Abhishek as she talks about his understanding of nature in a recent interview with a Bollywood magazine. Aishwarya said that both Abhishek and herself are gifted with strong genes. This gives the two equally strong personalities. She also talked about the times they have argued, but she claimed that they are figuring out how to discuss and solve issues.

The Dhoom 2 actor also revealed that Bachchan has proven to be a good friend even before they tied the knot. She also said that she has excellent and intelligent conversations with Abhishek. The actor talked about the marriage proposal, and how it was almost a dreamy event. The Manmarziyaan actor proposed Aishwarya on the sets of Jodha Akbar. She was dressed as a bride shooting for the song Khwaja Mere Khwaja when Abhishek popped the question. She shared that she thought that it was surreal.

The two have worked in numerous movies like Kuch Na Kaho, Guru, Raavan, and Dhoom 2. They had a daughter Aaradhya in 2011. Aishwarya keeps posting pictures on her Instagram handle. In one particular post, Aishwarya shared a snap of her wrapped in Abhishek’s hands. In the caption, she talked about how the picture was taken by Aaradhya. Their marriage is a great example of love, togetherness, and support.
