Aishwarya Rai Skips Joint Appearance With Father-in-law Amitabh Yet Again Amid Rift Rumours

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan marked her presence at the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on July 13. The actress was among the first guests at the divine blessings ceremony of the newlyweds. Amid reports of her feud with the Bachchan family, the actress' solo arrival has raised eyebrows. Previosuly, her father-in-law and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan arrived with his son-in-law and granddaughter Navya Nanda. 

Is there is a rift in the Bachchan family? 

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arriving without the Bachchan family at the Ambanis event for two days in a row now has raised suspicions about a feud in the family. Previosuly the actor's social media activity, solo trips and skipping joint appearances with her husband had ignited the rumours of trouble in paradise for the couple. However, fans of the couple have time and again argued that the actors prefer to lead a private life and keep their personal matters away from the public eye. 

Amid the rumours of a rift in the family, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya walked the red carpet at the red carpet of Anant Ambani's wedding on July 12 alone. Their arrival came moments after the rest of the Bachchan family including Big B, Shweta Bachchan, Abhishek and Jaya Bachchan posed together. A repeat of the same took place today, when Amitabh Bachchan posed with his son-in-law Nikhil Nanda along with his grandchildren Navya Nanda. 

Aishwarya-Abhishek seated together for Ambani festivities despite separate entrance 

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s separate arrival at the Ambani wedding became one of the talking points from the grand night. While the couple skipped a joint appearance on the red carpet, inside photos from the venue show them seated together as the newlyweds took their pheras. The photo, seemingly a screenshot from a YouTube stream, found its way to the social media site Reddit.

In another photo from the starry night, Aishwarya and Abhishek can be seen greeting actress Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan during the event. The photos are suggestive that the couple is in fact happily married and there is no trouble in paradise for them. The couple has maintained their silence in the same manner.
