Tanhaji: Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan's big screen battle will be epic

The latest poster of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is out. Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan will be seen sharing the screen space after a gap of 13 years after they starred in Omkara. Periodic dramas in the Hindi film industry are often known for their grand scales and larger- than- life portrayal of characters. The poster of Tanhaji is already getting positive reviews from fans.

Ajay will be seen portraying the role of a Maratha warrior Subedar Tanhaji Malusare who battled alongside Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj. The great Maratha warrior is celebrated for his important role in the Battle of Sinhagad in 1670 AD. Saif will be seen as an antagonist in the epic drama. He will play the role of a Mughal fort-keeper Uday Bhan Rathod as per a leading entertainment portal.
A grand set was constructed at the Film City in Mumbai for the shooting of the film. Fans had been waiting since long for the first look of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior to come out. Ajay recently shared the first look and the poster of the film on social media. The project is said to be the actor's 100th film in Bollywood which makes it even way more interesting and special especially for his fans.
About Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero
The Ajay- Saif starrer will be released in cinemas on January 10, 2020. It is directed by Om Raut who has previously worked in the super-hit Marathi film Lokmanya: Ek Yug Purush for which he received critical acclaim. The film is produced by Ajay himself. Kajol will be also seen playing an important role in the movie. She will portray the role of Subedar Tanhaji Malusare’s wife. It will also star Sharad Kelkar, Jagapathi Babu, Devdutta Nage, Pankaj Tripathi, Neha Sharma, Ajinkya Deo, Kailash Waghmare, Hardik Sangani, Luke Kenny, and Vipul Gupta. The project is backed by Bhushan Kumar and will clash with Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak which stars Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey.
