Ajay Devgn has begun the shooting for the sequel of the 2018 film Raid. The actor plays the role IRS officer in the film that celebrities the unsung heroes of the Income tax department. The film will be the second collaboration of Ajay with director Rajkumar Gupta.
Raid 2 will release on November 15
Following the tremendous success of the 2018 blockbuster Raid, Ajay Devgn reunites with Director Rajkumar Gupta and Producers Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar for the highly anticipated sequel – Raid 2. Celebrating the unsung heroes of the Income Tax Department, Raid 2 will again narrate a true case from their books.
The film has commenced shooting in Mumbai today and will be extensively shot in Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. The first film captivated audiences with its gripping narrative, and now, with the sequel underway, Raid 2 promises even more intensity with double the drama and suspense. Raid 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar under their banner T-Series and Panorama Studios. The film will release theatrically on 15th November 2024.
Ajay Devgn begins shooting for Singham Again after sustaining eye injuries
Ajay Devgn is currently busy in the shoot for his upcoming film Singham Again. Shooting for the film was reportedly paused after an eye injury during an action scene in Mumbai earlier this month. During an action-packed sequence, Ajay Devgn suffered an eye injury, pausing the shoot momentarily. The actor, known for his professional dedication, resumed work after seeking immediate medical attention. Despite the setback, he aims to return for the January schedule, adhering to the principle of 'The Show Must Go On.'
Singham 3 promises a star-studded ensemble, bringing back Ajay Devgn as Singham and marking the return of Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar to Rohit Shetty's cop universe. Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, debuting as the first lady Singham, also feature in the film. Furthermore, the film introduces Tiger Shroff into the cop universe, adding to the star power.
