Ajay Devgn will be seen in his first multi-lingual film in the year 2020. Ajay Devgn will be seen in a sports drama titled Maidaan. The film has been directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and jointly written by Saiwyn Quadras and Ritesh Shah. The film revolves around the life of a coach who was the in charge of the Indian football team. The film stars actors like Ajay Devgn, Keerthi Suresh, and Bhavya Raj. Boney Kapoor will also reportedly be a part of the film’s team. The film is expected to release in November 2020.
Maidaan to release in a number of languages
Ajay Devgn will soon be seen in his first-ever multi-lingual film. The film Maidaan will reportedly release in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. According to a report by a leading daily, the director of the film, Amit Sharma, wishes to familiarise the audience with the legendary coach who had heralded the golden years of Indian football. The makers of the film were reportedly keen that the story of the coach, Syed Abdul Rahim, and his immense contributions to Indian football would reach as many people as possible. Hence, they decided to also release the film in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, thus tapping the audience in the south. The makers of the film are also excited about roping in different dubbing artists for the south version of the film. The film is in the production stage. Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor had posted about the beginning of the film on her official Instagram handle.

Ajay Devgn to play the role of Tanhaji
Ajay Devgn will be seen as Tanhaji in the upcoming film, Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero. The is being directed by Om Raut. The film stars actors like Saif Ali Khan, Kiran Rathod, and Kajol in pivotal roles. The film revolves around the life of Tanaji Malusare, who who was a Maharashtrian military leader. The film is expected to release on 10 January 2020.
