Ajay Devgn has been honoured with one of the most prestigious awards, Padma Shri. Ajay received Padma Shri in 2016. Former Indian President Pranab Mukherjee honoured Ajay Devgn with the award.

Ajay Devgn has won several National Awards for his performances. The first National Award that Ajay won was in 1998 for his movie, Zakhm. He also won the National Award for Best Actor for The Legend of Bhagat Singh for his portrayal of Bhagat Singh, in 2002.

Ajay has also received numerous Filmfare Awards for many of his performances. For his debut Phool Aur Kaante, Ajay won the award for Sensational Debut in 1992. In 2003, he won three awards; two for best actor and one for best villain. The Golmaal actor won Best Actor Critics Award for Company and The Legend of Bhagat Singh. He also won the Best Villain Award for Deewangee. He also won Best Actor for Singham and Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai.

Ajay Devgn’s movie Deewangee released back in 2002. Also, his negative role was appreciated in this film. He won the Popular Award in Best Performance by an Actor in a Negative Role for the same movie.

Stardust Awards
Ajay has won all the three categories of Stardust Awards. In 2017, he won Stardust Award for Breakthrough Performance – Male for Shivaay (2016). In 2011, he won Best Actor in Thriller Action for Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai. He also won Reader’s Choice for Best Actor in Comedy genre for All the Best: Fun Begins.
