Ajay Devgn began his Bollywood journey with his debut film Phool Aur Kaante in 1991. The star completed 30 years in Bollywood on November 11th this year. In an interview to a news publication, he expressed how he wishes to remake his debut film Phool Aur Kaante. Ajay Devgan completes his 100th film milestone with the release of the first look posters from his upcoming film Tanhaji- The Unsung Warrior.

About the film Phool Aur Kaante and its remake

Ajay Devgan expressed to a news publication medium that he wishes to remake the 1991 film and give it a new rendition. He mentioned that he will be happy co-producing Phool Aur Kaante with someone. He also said that he is in search of a new face to star in the remake. Phool Aur Kaante made Ajay Devgn's career in Bollywood. According to the interview, he believes that he needs to retain the emotions expressed in the older version. The 1991 film was directed by Kuku Kohli and written by Iqbal Durrani. The film was a roller coaster ride between romance, action and drama genre. Madhoo was also a part of the film as Ajay Devgan’s love interest.

On professional front

Ajay Devgn was last seen in a comical role in Akkiv Ali directorial De De Pyaar De alongside Rakul Preet Singh. He recently took to Instagram to share the first look poster from his next Tanhaji-The Unsung Hero. The historical period drama is slated to release on January 10, 2020. According to reports, Ajay Devgn is also a part of the film titled Maidaan, which is based on the golden years of Indian Football. The film is set to release on November 27, 2020.
