Ajay Devgn has officially walked out of the Luv Ranjan film which he was supposed to star in, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. The pictures of Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor chatting up about the project had previously gone viral. The anticipation around the project was pretty high. Ajay Devgn bids adieu to Luv Ranjan’s film
Luv Ranjan’s project with Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone has reportedly been shelved. The reason being Ajay Devgn opting to walk out of the project. Several reports have surfaced stating that the Singham actor has decided to part ways from the project. The reason being creative differences leading to no conclusion on a few things. Since the issue could not be resolved, Ajay took this decision. Hence the project has been reportedly shelved.

Luv Ranjan, after putting the project with Ajay Devgn on the backburner, is now working on his next. According to reports, he is planning his next with Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor. The pairing of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone has always been an on-screen hit. The former couples have delivered blockbusters like Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Tamasha. According to Bollywood gossip, Luv has already scripted the film for the lead pair. The film is supposed to be another romantic comedy by the director. The film is supposedly going on floor in February next year. Verbal approval from Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone has also been reportedly received for the film.

Currently, all the three actors of the now shelved project are busy with their own set of projects. Ajay Devgn is busy with the shoot of Tanhaji based on the life of Maratha warrior, Taanaji Malusare. Ranbir Kapoor is busy with the shoot of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra alongside Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. Whereas, Deepika Padukone is busy with her film Chhappak and will be seen alongside husband Ranveer Singh in the film ’83. It will be interesting to see Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone making an on-screen comeback after their film, Tamasha.
