While everybody is celebrating Gandhi Jayanti on October 2nd, all Bollywood buffs on social media are thinking about one thing and that is the significance of the date with Ajay Devgn's film, 'Drishyam'. For those unaware, the film revolves around a family who tries to cover up a murder, with the father in the family being the mastermind, played by Devgn. In the film time and again, it is mentioned that Devgn and his family visited Swami Chinmayanand's Satsang on 2nd October (Saturday), stayed in a hotel later and the next day they watch a movie and return home on 3rd October evening.

This statement gets repeated several times (at least 20 times), over the course of the movie, while the cops interrogate Vijay and his family. The film storyline has become a major talking point on the internet and many die-hard fans & netizens have taken to social media to reminisce about the film. On the professional front: 

Ajay Devgn will star in Maidaan, a sports drama. Devgn will be playing the role of Syed Abdul Rahim. Rahim has been a key member of Indian Football and is considered as an architect of modern Indian football. Tamil actor Keerty Suresh, the National Award winner, will make her Bollywood debut in Maidaan. It is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma.
