Ajay Devgn's first look from Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is out

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, is an upcoming film starring Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. Directed by Om Raut, the much-anticipated film is based on the life of 17-century Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare. In the film, Ajay Devgn will play the character of Tanhaji. Golmaal actor Ajay Devgn took to his social media to share his first look from the film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. In the poster, Ajay looks fierce and battle-ready to fight as Tanhaji. The poster has a tint of red and yellow hues. What caught our attention was the caption of the Instagram post. He wrote, "MIND that was as sharp as a sword... #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior".

Reports state that Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior has an estimated budget of around ₹150 crores, which is close to the budget of Hrithik Roshan's super hit movie War. Tanhaji was a military leader in the army of the Maratha Empire, led by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior film showcases Ajay Devgan as Subedar Tanhaji Malusare, Saif Ali Khan as Udaybhan Rathod and Kajol as Savitri Malusare. The film is slated to release on January 10, 2020.
