He has a black belt in Taekwondo and is a learned martial artist. actor had reportedly shared that he follows a strict workout routine which allows him to stay fit. Akshay is one of fittest actors in industry and has always advocated fitness and its importance. actor had shared that he wakes up at 4:30 am and doesn't like to party till late at night. actor also doesn't include tea or coffee in his diet.

Recently, in a conversation with reporters, Akshay Kumar talked about various health-related topics like exercise and diet. Akshay talked about how protein shake and supplements culture has taken over fitness industry. Akshay, apparently, does t believe in using protein shakes and depends upon natural protein sources. actor stated that he depends on a home-cooked food diet instead of depending on processed foods and fancy diets. - Breakfast: Parathas and a glass of milk
- on: Bowl of fresh fruits
- Lunch: Roti, dal, chicken, green vegetables and a bowl of curd
- Evening: Fresh juice without sugar
- Dinner: Soups, salads and vegetables.

Akshay Kumar's go-to food
Akshay was also asked about his one go-to food in a public event. actor shared that while being busy shooting on locations where healthy food is t available, he often eats bananas. actor eats 3-4 bananas and considers bananas to be safest fruit to eat. Akshay has also evidently shown support to Prime Minister Modi's 'Fit India Movement'.
