Ladakh got its first mobile theatre last week and Akshay Kumar is ecstatic that his most recent, ‘Bell Bottom’ was screened there.

Akshay Kumar took to his social media accounts on Sunday to share some great news with his fans. actor mentioned that screening of Bell Bottom at atre me his heart ‘swell with pride’. Kumar wrote in caption, “Makes my heart swell with pride that BellBottom was screened at World's highest mobile atre at Leh in Lakh. At an altitude of 11562 ft, atre can operate at -28 degrees C. What an amazing feat!” Kesari actor accompanied caption with a picture of atre. Stenzin Tankong's short film, Sekool, based on Changpa noms of Lakh, was screened at time of launch of atre.

Bell Bottom is directed by Ranjit M Tewari and became one of first films to have a atrical release amid rising COVID cases in country. atres are currently allowing only 50% seating due to restrictions owing to pandemic. film hit big screen on August 19. crime thriller also stars Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi and Vaani Kapoor alongside Akshay Kumar. Kumar takes on le role in film and plays an undercover agent, who goes by code name Bell Bottom.

film was in news after its writers, Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh hinted at re being a sequel for spy thriller in an interview with Pinkvilla. duo mentioned that team behind film were thinking about ideas to take film forward. writers also emphasized fact that open ending of end of film was not a gimmick, but was always part of Bell Bottom. y also said that Akshay Kumar was fond of film and wished to make it a franchise.
