Akshay Kumar reveals 'Good Newwz' does not deliver any social message

Seeing Akshay Kumar's last few appearances on the silver screen, it would appear that he has a soft spot for projects with a social message. Also known for his down-to-earth personality and his outstanding performance in movies, the actor recently revealed that his upcoming film Good Newwz would be different. He revealed that the movie would have nothing to do with any social cause. Audiences appear to be excited to watch the role of Akshay Kumar in his upcoming Good Newwz.

Good Newwz to teach to laugh more often

In an interview, for the trailer launch of his sports biopic movie Gold, Akshay Kumar was questioned if it was a conscious choice on his part to take up films that are strong on content, to which he gave an interesting answer.  Akshay Kumar said that he is working with films of various genres. He added saying that he is a part of the movie Housefull 4, which does not have any social message. The Good Newwz actor added that the movie would teach you to laugh more often. He continued further saying that the movie Good Newwz, is also one such film that does not deliver any social message.

Cast and Release Date

Good Newwz, directed by Raj Mehta, is a comedy-romance movie. Along with Bollywood star, Akshay Kumar, the film features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles. The movie's release date kept getting revised, which created confusion among the audiences. Good Newwz is now scheduled to be released on December 27, 2019. Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and unveiled the release date for Good Newwz. He also announced the genre of the movie, and he described it as ‘dramedy’.

Akshay Kumar's busy 2019

Akshay Kumar’s previous movies, Mission Mangal and Kesari ruled the box office and the actor's upcoming movies Housefull 4 and Good Newwz, which are set to hit the floors this year, also have gained the attention of many. The audience cannot wait to watch Akshay Kumar in the ‘dramedy’ movie Good Newwz after a long time. Apart from these comedy movies, the actor will also be seen in movies like Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb, and Bachchan Pandey.
