Akshay Kumar reacted on his bald look from Housefull 4 being compared to Ranveer Singh from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani'. Here's what he said -

Akshay Kumar who is all set to come to the silver screen on Diwali with Housefull 4, dons a bald look in the film. Netizens made comparisons that probably it was inspired by Ranveer Singh's 'Bajirao Mastani' look. Clarifying his stance in a media interaction, Akshay who is on promotional spree for Housefull 4, said: "I am not trying to ape anybody. Basically, when the character Bala was born, he had long hair. That’s when his dad kept his name as Rajkumar Bala. After 2 years, he had Shahi Mundan, and after that, there was no hair growth."

The plot of 'Housefull 4' circles around the theme of reincarnation. The movie is set in two time periods- the 16th century and the other 21st century. As per media reports, in the 16th century, Akshay Kumar will be seen as a King in 'Housefull 4', while Bobby Doel and Riteish Deshmukh will play his associates. Chunkey Panday’s humorous character Aakhri Pasta will be the nephew of great artist Vasco Da Gama. On the other hand, the present era story will showcase the girls coming from wealthy families and guys trying to impress them, in the past era, the characters will be seen in royal avatars.

The multi-starrer film, which promises to be a hilarious roller coaster ride much like its earlier avatars, is produced by Nadiadwala Grandson and co-produced by Fox Star Studios and is slated to hit the silver screens on October 25.
Akshay boards 'promotion on wheels' train for Housefull 4
The special 'promotion of wheels' train, operated by the IRCTC and Western Railway, began its maiden journey to New Delhi from Mumbai Central station on Wednesday, with cast of Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Housefull 4' on board. The inaugural run saw cast and crew of 'Housefull 4' board the special eight-coach rake, which was vinyl wrapped with artwork from the film. Under the Indian Railway's 'promotion on wheels' initiative, trains will made be available for promotion and publicity of art, culture, films, television programmes, sporting events etc.

The cast of the film including actors Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda and Chunky Pandey boarded the train from Borivali station, a press release from Western Railway stated. "#Housefull4Express is proud to be the first-ever #PromotionOnWheels! Ab Dilli door nahi :)," Akshay tweeted.
