Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Laxmmi Bomb which was earlier set to clash with Salman Khan's Radhe, is now releasing on Independence Day on the OTT platform.

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Laxmmi Bomb, which was earlier set to clash with Salman Khan’ Eid release Rhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, is w releasing on Independence Day. According to latest reports by a leing publication, much-anticipated film Laxmmi Bomb will skip a atrical release and w release on OTT platform. As per reports, actor has decided to come out with his film on August 15, 2020.

Salman Khan starrer Rhe is still left with some pending scenes to be shot, while Akshay Kumar and Kiara vani starrer have completed shooting pre-lockdown. In past few years, Baby actor has always chosen D-day for release of his films which includes RustomGold,  Mission Mangal and w he even picked up his forthcoming film for digital world premiere on same date. upcoming horror-thriller movie is directed by South Indian star Raghava Lawrence. film will mark Raghava Lawrence's directorial debut in Bollywood. Bollywood's superstar Akshay will be seen portraying role of a trans in flick. As per reorts, much-awaited film is a remake of Tamil movie Muni 2: Kanchana.

Some time back, news by an entertainment website talked about how makers of film Laxmmi Bomb were trying to brainstorm over release of flick without affecting any of its related aspects. Reportedly, y h come up with conclusion that an Akshay Kumar film’s release on an OTT platform might ruin atrical prospects of or big-budget films. One of se also includes Akshay Kumar's upcoming Rohit Shetty directorial cop-drama Sooryavanshi. 

Big-budget films like Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo which recently released on Amazon Prime on June 12 and Anu Men’s Shakuntala Devi are ones which opted digital way. Films like Gunjan Saxena starring Janhvi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan’s Jhund, and Abhishek Bachchan-Rajkummar Rao starrer Ludo are also set to thre digital path amid lockdown. Reportedly, re are seven Bollywood and South Indian films whose digital release has been confirmed.
