The 33-year old actor, Ali Fazal had a slow start in Bollywood but he is making his name in many Hollywood projects. The actor, who is in London for the shooting of Death on the Nile, met Al Pacino at the screening of Irishman. The Death on the Nile is his second international project after 2017 release Victoria and Abdul. The project also features Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot and Annette Bening.

Ali Fazal turned a year older on October 15 and he marked his celebration with Gal Gadot and Annette Bening in London. On top of it, while enjoying the birthday bash, he met his idol Al Pacino at a private screening of the Irishman at the London Film Festival. The Mirzapur star took to his social media handle and shared the picture. The Fukrey star revealed that he had a talk about his work with Al Pacino.

Speaking in an interview, Ali Fazal talked about how he had grown up admiring his idol Al Pacino. He said that it was a life long journey to finally reach this moment. He used to fill up the walls of his hostel room with the posters of movies that he would like to watch. He also said his birthday ended on a sweet note at a cute place with some of his wonderful co-stars.

After starring in Mirzapur, Ali is currently shooting for A Death In The Nile. The film is an adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novel with the same name. The film is a follow up of 2017 blockbuster Murder On The Orient Express, also an adaptation of Christie’s novel with the same name. The actor who has worked in Hollywood films like Fast and Furious 7 and Victoria & Abdul informed that the shooting of the film has already started.

Fazal made his Bollywood debut with a cameo role in 3 Idiots. He next appeared in Always Kabhi Kabhi and his first hit movie was Fukrey. He was also seen in Baat Ban Gayi, Bobby Jassos and Sonali Cable in a supporting role. Fazal played the leading role in the film Khamoshiyan and in 2016 release Happy Bhaag Jayegi opposite Diana Penty.
