It looks like preparation for filmmaker Karan Johar's ambitious multi-starrer film 'Takht' is in full swing. Alia Bhatt, who will feature in movie has shared a glimpse of a session. She posted a boomerang video of session on her Instagram story.

Alia Bhatt gears up for 'Takht'

boomerang was possibly made at office of Dharma Productions. boomerang shows her 'Takht' mug in her hand and of course, Karan Johar in background in conversation along with Ranveer Singh, who we guess Alia is trying to hide with mug. Take a look-

Besides Alia and Ranveer, multi-starrer film also includes Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, and Janhvi Kapoor. Helmed by Karan 'Takht' is a period drama which is set to hit big screens in 2020.

"Takht" is set in Mughal era and chronicles story of two warring brors - Dara and Aurangzeb. film features a grand ensemble cast with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor, and it will reportedly go on floors soon.

"It’s something that I’ve always chased and wanted to kind of put up re and finally when Sumit Roy, writer, came to me with story of Dara and Aurangzeb, which is pretty much first time I’m saying that what Takht is about. I can’t wait to get into prep mode which I’ve already started off,” Karan Johar was quoted saying during an interaction. As all Karan Johar movies are a family entertainer, this one too shall live up to it as it revolves around a story of a family, of ambition, of greed, of betrayal, of love & of succession. As he mentioned in his post, "Takht is about WAR for LOVE".
