From debuting as a lead actor in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year to being an energetic performer in Imtiaz Ali’s road movie Highway, Alia Bhatt’s career graph has only been on the rise. Unknown facts about Alia Bhatt

First seen as a child actor in Sangharsh in 1999, Alia lost almost 16 kgs from 67 kgs in three months for the audition of SOTY. Talking about her daily routine, Alia Bhatt said that she does not go on social media soon after she wakes up. She mentioned to a publication that she also loves to keep herself updated with reading the latest news - on her phone, as well as newspapers. Alia went on to add that she also likes to walk around the house and enjoy lush green surroundings.

In one of her videos, Alia Bhatt spoke about how she likes to save memories, including birthday gifts, cards, drawings, etc. The Raazi actor, Alia Bhatt likes to have warm water and a slice of lemon as a morning drink. The actor revealed that earlier she used to have coffee, but has now dropped it in favour of warm water.

Alia Bhatt’s childhood and her family

Alia was born on March 15, 1993, to actor Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt. She holds a British citizenship since her mother is from the UK. Music director Mukesh Bhatt is her parental uncle, and Emraan Hashmi and Mohit Suri are her parental cousins. She also has a sister Shaheen Bhatt and two half-siblings, Pooja Bhatt and Rahul Bhatt.
