Alia Bhatt recently took to Instagram and extended a sweet birthday wish for her 'pops'. Calling him the 'best', 'wisest', and 'very funny', she wrote, "Happy Birthday Daddy .. You amaze me every single day! There is no one like you and I repeat no one! I love you!". Alia Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt recently wrapped up the shooting for 'Sadak 2', and the 26-year-old announced the same by penning down a rather special post for her father.

Netizens spot an uncanny resemblance:
While the picture and the message extended with it is rather sweet, some eagle-eyed netizens spotted a rather uncanny resemblance between Alia Bhatt's childhood picture and Ziva Dhoni. Many netizens were left confused, and stated that 'baby' Alia looks exactly like MS Dhoni's daughter, Ziva.
On the work front for Alia:
Alia Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt were lodged in the Tamil Nadu hill station, Nilgiris for the shoot for ‘Sadak 2’, which marks the return of Mahesh Bhatt as director. The film is a sequel of the 1991 hit ‘Sadak’.‘Sadak’, a romantic thriller featured Pooja and Sanjay Dutt and was one of the highest-grossing Hindi movies of 1991. The film also had a popular musical score.
The late Sadashiv Amrapurkar's award-winning performance as Maharani won him fans, and his character is still considered one of the best screen villains in Bollywood. The film bore shades of the 1976 American movie, ‘Taxi Driver’. Alia Bhatt has also recorded a scratch version of a romantic track for her upcoming film 'Sadak 2'."It is a romantic number and comes at a crucial point in the film. The final track will be recorded only after the unit returns from their Ooty schedule in August," the makers said in a statement.
The film also marks her first collaboration with father Mahesh Bhatt, who is returning to the director's chair after two decades.
