Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his 82nd birthday today, October 11 and on this occasion, his ardent fans gathered outside his house Jalsa in Mumbai to catch a glimpse of the veteran actor. Big B's birthday has always been a time of celebration for his fans and admirers in the film industry and outside. And so it was today too. Continuing the ritual of meeting his fans outside his house on his birthday, the Shahenshah stepped out and waved at the fans in the afternoon.

Big B opened the gates of his house Jalsa to meet his ardent fans. For this occasion, he wore an off-white kurta-pyjama paired with a printed shawl. In the images, the Kalki 2898 AD actor can be seen getting the crowd with folded hands. He also happily waved at them.

One of the photos hints that he engaged in banter with his fans as he can be seen excitedly pointing at someone.

People of all ages, overwhelmingly men, came together outside the Bachchan residence Jalsa to greet the actor whose stardom has endured decade after decade. Some carried life-size posters and placards and others dressed up as characters from his films.
