Amitabh Bachchan terms his singing debut as 'nightmarish'

In blog post, Amitabh Bachchan revealed how he found his debut as a playback singer for Mere Paas Aao in Mr Natwarlal to be a nightmare. He said that he was terrified with sudden news of him singing for his background song. Amitabh Bachchan also added that he battled long hours with director and music director of film that it was a bad idea because he could t sing. He revealed that song, Mere Paas Aao was recorded in recording studio of Mehboob studios, which is w extinct and is used for film shoots or TV shoots. He said recording experience proved to be similar to a nightmare for him.

Amitabh Bachchan also revealed that when recording process for Mere Paas Aao was done with, eminent recording artist Ghoshbabu told him that he should sing more often. Amitabh Bachchan said that he accepted advice with a large pinch of salt, and added that he did t realise that his singing stint continues after all se years. Amitabh Bachchan concluded with a sarcastic statement saying how his singing has been a pain for all fans and listeners all se years.
