Amitabh Bachchan, often known as the don of Bollywood, has given multiple legendary hits to the industry. However, he did not have a great initial start. In spite of coming from a popular family, Amitabh Bachchan still had to struggle through his way to the top. Why was Amitabh Bachchan rejected?
In his latest post on Instagram, Amitabh shared a throwback picture from 1968. He was seen dressed in a kurta-pyjama posing in front of a tree. He captioned it saying that the picture was from his application for a job in movies, from his portfolio, from 1968. He also expressed that it was no wonder that he was rejected.

The Don actor had also shared another throwback post on his official Twitter account. The actor posted a black and white picture of him posing next to a tree. He also captioned it saying it was the image he had sent to Filmfare Madhuri Contest to join films. And again joked saying no wonder they rejected him.
Amitabh is quite active on his official social media account. Instagram or Twitter, Big B is seen sharing his pictures and poetries on the account. Amitabh Bachchan has shared several stories of his rejection and how he had to face gruelling struggles at the beginning of his career. His debut movie was Saat Hindustani (1969). Amitabh could not churn out much at the box-office in the initial years. However, after almost 13 flops, he got to taste success. His role of Inspector Vijay Khanna in Zanjeer (1973) hit the bull's eye and fans started addressing him as the ‘angry young man’ of Bollywood.
