Legendary Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan who made his big-screen debut in 1969 with 'Saat Hindustani' just added ar fear to his cap and has been selected for Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2019, for his immeasurable contribution to Indian cinema.

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Minister for Information and Broadcast, Prakash Javadekar, took to Twitter to break news that veteran Bollywood actor and legend Amitabh Bachchan has been selected for Dadasaheb Phalke award. This news took internet by a storm.

Bachchan, whose body of work is unmatched in Hindi cinema, has previously been houred with Padma Shri in 1984, Padma Bhushan in 2001 and Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
