Amitabh Bachchan's birthday: B-Town celebs hail him with sweet wishes

One doesn’t see the kind of love that Amitabh Bachchan received on his birthday that often. The veteran actor turned 77 in grand style on Friday and the celebrities also joined in celebrating their fondest memories. Numerous Bollywood stars too conveyed their greetings to Big B on his special day. From Lata Mangeshkar to Kartik Aaryan, there were heartwarming messages for Amitabh Bachchan on his birthday.

Several other stars like Ajay Devgn, Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Urmila Matondkar, Suniel Shetty, Tiger Shroff, Farhan Akhtar, Parineeti Chopra conveyed their greetings for the occasion. Some wished him with their throwback pictures, where they were awed by the experience of sharing the frame with him. 

Some wished Bachchan for good health and that he continues to take the bar higher. Some shared how they got to learn a lot from him, while some praised him for inspiring them with his energy, skill, grace and panache!

Amitabh Bachchan stepped out with his family to greet his fans gathered outside his bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai. Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aaradhya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda were also spotted. 

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan had two releases this year. Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla opposite Taapsee Pannu was a big success, one of the biggest of the year. He also featured in a cameo opposite another superstar Chiranjeevi in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. His TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati is doing well on the TRP charts.

Moreover, Big B has multiple films in his kitty at the moment. The megastar will first be seen Sairat fame Nagaraj Manjule’s Jhund. He also will feature in Chehere, a movie where he is sharing screen space with Emraan Hashmi. Bachchan also reunites with his Piku director Shoojit Sircar for Gulabo Sitabo, also featuring Ayushmann Khurrana. He is also set to feature in Brahmastra also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
