Late legendary actor Amrish Puri's grandson Vardhan Puri is set to mark his Bollywood debut with upcoming romantic thriller film 'Yeh Saali Aashiqui'.

Late legendary actor Amrish Puri's grandson Vardhan Puri is set to mark his Bollywood debut with upcoming romantic thriller film Yeh Saali Aashiqui. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and made the announcement of the same. In the post, he revealed that the film which will be directed by Cherag Ruparel will also mark the debut of Shivaleeka Oberoi in the lead. Produced by Dr. Jayantilal Gada [PEN] and Rajeev Amrish Puri, the flick is set to release on November 22, 2019.
Taran Adarsh also unveiled the motion position of Yeh Saali Aashiqui on Twitter while making the announcement. The intriguing poster shows a hand with bloodied fingers making the shape of a heart. The tagline of the poster reads, 'Lovers, beware!'

Amrish Puri
Much-celebrated for his antagonistic roles, Amrish Puri was one of the most renowned actors in the industry. He counts on the list of credible villains in the history of Indian cinema and has appeared in more than 200 films in various languages -- including Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Punjabi, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and English. Some of his most memorable performances were as Mogambo in the 1987 cult classic Mr. India, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Tehelka, Nayak, Indian Jones and the Temple of Doom, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha were some of Amrish Puri's hits films which are still remembered by fans.
Born in Punjab on June 22, 1932, Amrish Puri started his journey in cinema at the age of 39 with 1971's Reshma Aur Shera, after working in theatre and doing voice-over parts. Amrish Puri broke into the Hollywood scene as Khan, a supporting role in the Oscar-winning movie, Gandhi. He was later cast as Mola Ram in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, after initially turning down director Steven Spielberg's offer. Puri passed away at the age of 72 on January 12, 2005, following a brain hemorrhage.
