His songs were kwn to be simple and simply touched one’s heart. He was also kwn to be wordsmith of Hindi cinema.

Anand Bakshi entered Bollywood to write songs as well as sing m. He got his break in Bollywood with film Bhalla Ami in 1958. He wrote 4 songs for film out if which song Dharti Ke Laal Na Kar Itna Malaal became very popular. Anand Bakshi died at of 71 in year 2002. Some of his or hit songs include Mehendi Lagi Mere Haath, Meri Tasveer Lekar Kya Karoge Tm, and Chand Sa Koi Chehera.
