Ananya Panday declares herself a die-hard romantic and a movie buff

Ananya Panday has always made a statement with her fashion choices and in a recent interview with a popular magazine, the actor has also made a statement about her idea of romance. She said that she has always been a die-hard romantic at heart and that she has a soft spot for everything "soppy, sappy and cheesy". She also revealed that she would prefer someone who would surprise her and write letters to her as a way of showing their love.

The 21-year-old Student Of The Year 2 actor also revealed that Hrithik Roshan was her first celebrity crush. Ananya also took to Instagram and posted the cover of a magazine that featured her in a red Indian ensemble. The caption of the post confirmed her penchant for the display of emotions and sentiments in a filmy way. The actor modified and personalized a dialogue from Alia Bhatt's romantic comedy Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania.

In the interview with the magazine, Ananya Panday opened up about watching only romantic movies while growing up. She also went on to name some of her favourite TV shows that she likes binge-watching. The common thread to all of her choices seems to be the romantic genre that she is so fond of.

What's next for Ananya Panday?

The actor will next be seen in the upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh. The movie is scheduled to release on December 6, 2019, and is directed by Mudassar Aziz. Ananya will star alongside Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar in the movie, which is reportedly a remake of the 1978 movie of the same name. The actor will also be seen in Mudassar Aziz's Khali Peeli opposite actor Ishaan Khatter in 2020.
